Hero- A hero is someone who you can look up to, who you know will always be there for you no matter what. Who can teach you things no one else can. Who has been through a lot.

Yes it is important to have a hero, because you need someone to look up to. So you can strive to be better. Or be like them. Having a hero in your life can make you a better person in the future, by remembering the characteristics that the person had.

My personal hero is my mother. I chose my mother because she has never let me down on anything. She helps me with everything I need. She always keeps me happy and gives me what I need and want. She always take my side on everything.

I do believe that my mother should be inducted in the hall of fame, because she has been through a lot. She's the strongest person I know who can face anything, including death of family members. We lost 5 of our family members last year and one of them was her dad and my grandpa. She kept everyone in the family together. She remained strong. My mother is the type of person who would help you if she didn't even know you.
