Dara O`Briain

On the 4th of February 1972 Dara O Briain was born in Wicklow Ireland. He attended Colaiste Eoin in Dublin's Southside. Afterwards he went University College where he studied maths and theoretical physics. While there he joined the universities oldest debating society and wrote columns for the university observer. He's also fluent in IRISH!!!

Despite all his education he went on to present a kid's tv show and also started doing standup comedy in run down bad venues. He became better and better at standup as he went on and was soon offered a job presenting the family game show "It's a Family Affair". He toured around the world in venues such as Dubai, Boston, Shanghai and New York. Dara now hosts "Mock The Week" and sometimes appears on other shows as a guest.

He's married to a doctor called Susan and lives in London. He's very private and refuses to talk to the press about his family life. Dara himself thinks he looks like one of "Tony Sopranos" henchman (in other words like a mafia hardman). He just released a new dvd called "Dara O Briain Talks Funny" and he has won loads of awards for being one of the funniest men on the planet. (all info from wikipedia)
