by Juan Camilo from Cali, Colombia

After all, to the well-organized mind, death is but the next great adventure. ~J.K. Rowling

In the next paragraphs you are going to know about my hero. You are going to read about different things he had done for charities, also, when and where he was born. You are going to read when he started his career as an actor and where he studied, also, different characteristics about his personal life and of his religion. You are going to read about his parents and about his education.

Daniel Jacob Radcliffe was born on July 23, 1989. Radcliffe was born in Queen Charlotte's Hospital, Hammersmith, England. He is an English actor, best known for playing Harry Potter. He is the only child of Alan George Radcliffe and Marcia Jeannine Gresham. Radcliffe first expressed a desire to act at the age of five. Radcliffe was educated at two independent schools for boys; at Sussex House School in Chelsea and in the City of London School, in London. He has been acting since 1999.

Radcliffe "has been a supporter of various charities, including Demelza House Children's Hospice in Sittingbourne, Kent, to which he has requested fans to make donations. In February 2005, Radcliffe put a "Hogwarts Crew" T-shirt, which he autographed. This was made to help raise money for the Tsunami victims in 2005. These T-shirts were only issued to members of the cast and crew. His shirt raised more than £520.

For me Radcliffe is a hero because he helped some people doing charities and donating money to people in need. Also, he had brought fun and entertainment to the people doing these amazing movies he had done. He had change people's perspective about sci-fi movies.
