You may think that heroes are people who are famous, but not my hero. She’s an every day person who teaches me how to read and write better. She is patient and kind and encourages me to become all that I can be. Her name is Deborah Taylor.

She is still alive today. She lived in many places. She was born on October 28 in California and moved to New York. Her next move was to Texas where she attended Texas A&M School where she studied to be an accountant. You may think that she settled there, but she didn’t. After college, she then moved to Florida for a little while. After that, some of the other places she lived were New Jersey, back to Texas, Connecticut, then Massachusetts, then back to Texas again. Mrs. Taylor is married and has two sons, Keith and Will. She loves to teach people as did her mother. She was inspired to help other students by her son Will because he had dyslexia and also faced many challenges at school reading and writing.

Mrs. Taylor is a wonderful person. She teaches many kids who have reading and writing challenges. One thing that Mrs. Taylor has inspired me to do is to work harder in reading and writing. She teaches other kids too, helping them to be the best that they can be, even when faced with learning challenges.

Sometimes heroes are not noticed on the news, like my hero. That doesn’t mean that they aren’t important. Deborah Taylor is a great person to me. She is patient and kind and if I did not have her to help me, it would be a lot harder for me to learn and reach my dreams.
