David Beckham
David Beckham

Did you ever want to become a professional soccer player? David Beckham is my hero, because I want to become a professional soccer player and so did David Beckham. I learned a lot from studying his childhood, early career, and his M.L.S. career. He was one of the best soccer players in the world.

The first thing I learned from David Beckham was about his childhood. He started playing soccer at the age of 4. He went to a soccer camp when he was about 8 years old. He practiced with his dad for hours playing soccer. All he did was play soccer and when he got injured he couldn't play soccer. Six weeks was the longest time he ever went without playing soccer.

The second thing I learned from David Beckham was about his early career. When he was 14 years old he got a call from the Manchester United coach, "Can you start training with the team?" Beckham said, "yes." His first professional soccer game was when he was 16 years old. Manchester United, his team, won the game that night. When David Beckham made a goal that game his whole life changed. People and ESPN Center were talking about how young he was. They thought his skills were really good, however, he could not kick with his left foot, he couldn't head a ball, he couldn't tackle, and does not make many goals.

The third thing I learned from David Beckham was about his M.L.S. career. He was one of the highest paid soccer players. He now plays with L.A Galaxy. A.C Milan borrowed him for a couple of soccer games and he was not as good. He couldn't do what he could do a long time ago. The fans blamed it all on David Beckham, because they lost all the games. He married a woman name Victoria Adams. He went back to L.A Galaxy.

David Beckham, my hero, had an interesting life with his childhood, early career, and his M.L.S. career. I think it is really cool that he became what he wanted to become. I think that if you want to become something you've just got to try really hard like David Beckham and should read David Beckham's book. I urge you to never give up on what you want to become.
