I first discovered Danny when I was watching a snowboard competition the X-games and he was in the top 3. He was really good and I have never heard of him before and I liked him from that moment on. I like that he had made his own snowboard company and had accomplished it himself with his brother. Danny has built one of the most popular snowboard companies on his own and has certainly made a career out of snowboarding. I Also like Danny because he created his own show called “Danny and the Dingo” which is basically him and his friend going around snowboarding and having fun. Danny is such a laid back and humble guy even if he loses in a big competition he looks beyond his imperfections.

A professional Snowboarder competes at competitions at numerous mountains to get prize money, sponsors, and free gear. No Education is required to become a professional though a bachelors Degree would be a good idea if you somehow get injured and you want another possibility. The training required to be a very good snowboarder would be to know some marketing and business so in your career you don’t get ripped off. The Salary averages around $82,540 though including sponsors and prize money you could earn more. Snowboarding would be a lustrous career for someone who enjoys adrenaline rushes, excitement, and someone who just loves the outdoors, or nature.
Danny always was into extreme sports as a kid, and loved to practice that sport over and over until he reached the best he could be. He was into business as well, and would love to make money in whatever he was doing. Being good at extreme sports such as skating, surfing and biking would all be befits to this career. They will provide fundamentals to snowboarding. Danny Started snowboarding in 9th grade and enrolled in a snowboarding academy that year as well. Danny also took part in competitions and showed up when scouts where looking at future talent. Being involved and practicing will tremendously help your chances of becoming a pro snowboarder.
Danny growing up was poor and lived with his mom and brother and never had the equipment or gear he needed as a kid. Now that he is a pro, when Danny travels on tour, he gives free gloves to random people on his stops around the country. Danny growing up got lucky and was recruited young though he knows there are a lot of good snowboarders out there and is traveling around the country every year to try to find a kid to go on tour with him and be sponsored by his company.
My goals in High school to follow my hero are to be the best snowboarder I can be, to be as active and involved in the sport as I can and to enjoy the sport and just have fun. My college goals are to get a degree in business to help marketing in a snowboard career, for sponsors, Snowboard teams and just to have good business understanding. A College degree is also important because if I somehow get injured and am no longer able to snowboard I want a back-up plan for another career. My lifetime goal would be to become the best snowboarder I can be in my profession, to be an entertainer for the fans and the growth of the sport, and to make a living at doing what I love.
