Darrent Demarcus Williams

My hero is Darrent Demarcus Williams. He was a young pro football player. His height was 5 ft. 8 in. and he was born September 27, 1982 in Fort Worth Texas. He started 23 out of 27. He was drafted in 2005, in the NFL. He returned an 82 yard interception. He was a punt returner.

He spent 2 years with the Broncos. He was a pro for 2 years. His mom had 2 jobs and he just went out. He hung out with a gang. That changed when he started going to church.

He is my sports hero because he isn’t a person who does bad things. I thought it was sad when he died. He died on January 1, 2007. His funeral must have been sad. He is my hero because he was a very good man.

He died in Javon Walker's hands. Carmelo Anthony and Kenyon Martin were with him at a night club. He was the last player signed. He died new years 2007 in Colorado.

I chose him as my hero because he was a person who did not do anything to the people who shot him. He was a young football player and a friend to many people. He was also a father. He did many bad things when he was young but I bet if he could go back in time he would change all of that. That’s why I chose him as my hero.
