My shero is my mom because she is such a wonderful, understanding and compassionate person. She cares for everyone that is around her, and she also has so much wisdom. Moreover, she is a beautiful spirit and her spirit shines through her crystal, green eyes. She has never judged me for anything that I have done; instead she understands. My mom sees shining stars in all her children. She is so inspiring because no matter what we do wrong, she will always love us. I am not embarrassed to say that my mom is my best friend. The way I see it, is that instead of acting as though you hate your parents, you should cherish the memories and good times with them because they will always love you very much. In addition, one should always strive to make your life as wonderful as it can be.

One of the main reasons that my mom is my sheroe is because she was there for me when my family experienced the dark times; when my dad had his work related accident. Sadly, he was in a comma for a month in St. Michael's Toronto Hospital. When this tragedy happened, it was like the clock stopped working and never started up again. In fact, time stood still for a very long time. During this time, my mom helped me through the dark tunnel to reach the surface of light. It must have been hard to juggle all of the issues that she faced, but she put everything behind her, to help me and my sister.

Another key reason that my mom is my shero is because she was responsible for looking after my dad and home-schooling me. When I was in grade six, my mom homeschooled me for a year because I was so far behind in public school as I missed a full month of school. Although, she had a lot on her plate, she still helped me to succeed in my own life. She taught me that life is too short to be negative. Also, my shero taught me to look at the beauty that surrounds us. She reminds me to be proud of my actions because they influence the beautiful world that we live in.
