DR. Luc Montagnier is hero because he discovered the human immunodeficiency virus (H.I.V). He found it in the T-cell. He found that H.I.V attacks T4-cells which are crucial in the immune system.
The reason why he is my hero is because he found H.I.V and what it attacks. It helps the people make medicine for other. And it helped a friend of mine and he was able to live longer.
DR. Montagnier won 6 awards over the years, including an award called the NOBEL PRIZE IN MEDICINE. He my hero because because of his discovery of the virus causing A.I.D.S
