Sir Edmund Hilary was the first person to climb Mount Everest.
Sir Edmund Hilary was born in 1919 in July.
He wanted to become famous so he climbed Mount Everest. It was very tall. He made sure he was brave and then he climbed it but it took a long time.
I think Sir Edmund Hilary did this because he wanted to be famous and I think he had the virtue of bravery. I chose Sir Edmund Hilary because he had the virtue of bravery.
