A hero is a person who is determined and never gives up no matter the circumstances, and they are a perfect role model for many people. My hero is Ed Speleers because after losing out when he tried for movies, he came back, beating many of the people he lost to before.

Ed Speleers was born on December 21 1988, in Chichester West Sussex; U.K. Ed liked acting since he was three years old, doing shows for his parents, and eventually his schools. Ed has played in school plays like Hamlet in his boarding school, Dorset High School. During that time he tried out for the movie The Chronicles of Narnia, but lost to William Moseley. A few years later he tried out for the hit movie Eragon and got the role, beating out Moseley this time. The movie is based off Christopher Paolini’s best-selling novel.

Ed is an accomplished athlete who plays football and rugby. He is really athletic and likes sports. Ed played for his college and plays with his friends. Ed is athletic because of this.

Ed Speleers is my hero because after he lost a few movie parts he still never gave up and got a bigger part than those other actors he lost to and those other movies and beat out many competition, including the ones from many other of his try outs.
