Ellen Degeneres

 I have picked to do my story on Ellen DeGeneres. Her birthday is January 26, 1958. She is an American standup comedian, then one commercial took her to host an award show, which took her to make her own show 'Ellen'. Ellen grew up in New Orleans and graduated from high school in 1976. Ellen won the award of being the best comedian. She was also the voice of Dory from the blockbuster animated hit movie 'Finding Nemo' in 2003. Ellen became a successful actress in the mid 1900's and beginning of her show called 'Ellen'.  She said "I have never been so passionate about something. I will probably do this for the rest of my career'.

Ellen has done so many things for so many people without even being asked to do it. On her show gives families the things they need to live. Like money, cars, job, and much more. She also let people live their dreams of getting to meet people they haven't thought they would ever meet. She  once had Justin Bieber on her show and she drove a girl to her show to meet Justin. She has made people famous, like Sofia Grace and Rosie. Ellen has earned over 10 million dollars to help with breast cancer. 

Ellen has plenty of 'haters'. People that are 'haters' hate things that someone else does. Ellen doesn't let them get to her. She doesn't let them get her down. Ellen is happy and full of joy all the time because she has great fans that love her and that she loves too. Ellen has supported many organizations, and has won many awards for doing so. Ellen has help charities for: American Wild Horse Preservation, Project Cuddle, Love Our Children USA, Stand Up for Cancer, St. Judes Childrens Research Hospital,  and  The Humane Society and many more.

She has helped many people live their dreams, and helps so many families that need help to live a normal life. Ellen loves animals so much. She once gave a dog away to some people and the dog passed away because of  abuse from the new owners of the dog. The night Ellen found out she had a show. She cried and told everyone watching that she thought it was her fault because she said that if she didn't did give it away, it would still be alive.

Ellen is my hero, not only because of the things she has done, but also the things she has planned for later. Ellen has not personally taught me, but I have learned so much from her. She has taught me no to judge people and not to hate people for the way they look, and that it is what is on the inside that counts. She has taught me to be loving and caring to others. She inspires me to do many great things in life. Ellen makes me a better person by doing great things for other people and helping others out on living a normal life.
