Eddie Murphy

A hero is someone who cares for someone, always there, and listens to what you have to say. They know what the right thing is to say. Also they are able to influence people to be able to do great things in life without any troubles. They are not afraid to speak what is on their mind because they have self-confidence which makes one good role model. Although they can be brave and strong enough to define themselves and know how to help others. Someone who I look up to till this day is Eddie Murphy.

Eddie Murphy has accomplished many things and has been a great comedian throughout his life. In 1982, Murphy received a Grammy nomination for a live album of fresh stand-up material called Eddie Murphy: Comedian. It went gold. Then he landed his first major motion picture role alongside Nolte in 48 hours in 1982. In the next 2 years, Murphy released his first album How Could it Be?, which was produced by music legend Rick James. The first single off the album, "Party All the Time," peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. In 1996, Murphy rediscovered his love for over-the-top comedic invention in a hit remake of the Jerry Lewis film The Nutty Professor. Murphy earned a Golden Globe nomination and an Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy & Horror Films Award for his role in the film.

When I first saw one of his movies, I was surprised that it actually made me laugh. Eddie Murphy came to be known as one of the funny guys on television. He is such a great comedian that he influenced me to try and be funny as well. At first I thought I wasn’t funny but a lot people say I am funny which helps me because like I said I’ve wanted to be funny. Also he’s known as an actor. Sometimes I walk around as if I was acting. I hope one day to become something like him and influence others to as well.
