My hero is Emma Smith. Emma Smith was the wife of Joseph Smith. Joseph Smith re-established the Mormon Church. To me Emma Smith is a very courageous woman who struggled immensely, but remained a steady and strong member of the church.

Emma did not melt under pressure like many would have. Instead she did unselfish deeds every chance she got. She cared for the sick and fed the hungry even though she had her family to feed. She experienced many horrid things like her husband being tarred and feathered and him being killed in Liberty Jail. Sadly she passed away on April 30, 1879.

Many people look up to Emma as a strong woman who endured to the end and saved many people. If it weren’t for Emma, society wouldn’t be the same!!
