Courage, bravery and determination are the characteristics Elizabeth Cady Stanton displayed that made her an inspiring hero. She was born on November 21, 1825. Elizabeth grew up in the background of her family, where everybody centered their attention towards her brothers. In time, after all her brother died from different things, Elizabeth's family came into a depression, because her family counted on her brothers to do all the work and keep this family healthy. This encouraged Elizabeth Candy Stanton to really take her academics seriously; later she became a lawyer and politician. As Elizabeth's life went on she realized that men had many more opportunities than women. I think she was inspired by this to make a change, not only in her life but also in all women's lives. She believed that not matter what ethnicity you were you should be treated the same as anybody else.

Today, women might not have had the same rights or it could of taken a much longer period of time until women had the rights we have today if it was not for the courageous acts of Elizabeth Cady Stanton. All throughout Elizabeth's life she fought against slavery and women's rights. She believed it does not matter what you were, you should the same rights as everybody else. During this time period, a very few people had the courage to speak up about it, and Elizabeth was one of those people. Not only did she speak about her opinion she talked about other women's concerns.  Her opinion was people should never be told they do not have the same right as somebody else. She inspired lots of women to have a voice because she was not afraid to speak up.

Many people can keep quiet while living their life in way they do not like, but only a few people can have the bravery as Elizabeth Cady Stanton did to speak up about it. I admire Elizabeth Cady's bravery because she did not want to live her life in a way she did not think was right; she spoke about was wrong and showed other people that women should be respected and treated equally to men. Women's jobs at the time period were to be the household wife but Elizabeth was different. She went to many places giving lectures and speeches, her voice was being heard all across the nation and it was the rising of women getting their voices heard.

Elizabeth Cady Stanton never gave up her determination to create women's rights. Elizabeth Cady Stanton needed determination because not many women were able to stand up for what they believed in that time. I look up to Elizabeth Cady Stanton for determination and persistence for women's rights . She was determined to make sure that all women's voices were being heard and people really got the forceful message that women were going to have their voices heard about the unjust about women's rights.

Elizabeth Cady Stanton will always remain a hero in history because of her heroic acts. I think what Elizabeth Cady Stanton did will always encourage me to do what I think and stand up for it even if others might disagree. She made a change in history and a change in the future for women as well. Not many people can say they changed one of the most important rules in mankind such as inequality but Elizabeth Cady Stanton did. She is inspirational leader for many people because of her courage, bravery and determination. Elizabeth Cady Stanton once said "We hold these truths to be self-evident: that all men and women are created equal." Elizabeth said this and truly lived by it and believed it to be true to until the day she died.
