Eamon Sullivan was born on the 30th of August 1985 in Perth Western Australia. Although he is not the tallest swimmer in the only 189cm tall and weighs in at 78kg he is the world record holder for the 50m free and he's my hero.
Eamon recently qualified for the 2008 Beijing Olympics at a swim meet in Sydney which was his best to date. He broke the 50m free record in the semi final at a time of 21.41 and then smashed it again in the final at the time of 21.28.
Eamon has also has his fair share of injuries over the years putting his swimming career on hold many of times most of them for hip operations and shoulder sprains.
Eamon Sullivan is a hero to people all around the world by inspiring the younger generation to learn how to swim and catching not only the nations but the hole worlds heart by showing us remarkable exciting swimming.
Eamon Sullivan is my hero. Eamon is my hero because he a notable person in and out of the pool by being well behaved in public situations and also he teaches me and I know many other people that if you want it and if you put your mind to it you can just do about anything.
