My hero is Emma Charlotte Duerre Watson. She was born on April 15, 1990 in Paris, France. Her parents got divorced when she was five. After the divorce she got step brothers and a step dad. With her dad she got a step mom and thee older siblings. Then she was the oldest of seven. Then she moved to Yorkshire England with her mom and attended Dragon School in Oxford. She was trained to be an actress at Stagecoach Theatre Arts.
Emma Watson has acted in all the Harry Potter movies as Hermione Granger. She has also acted in many other movies such as The perks of being a Wallflower. She is a model for Burberry. In 2014 she was chosen to be a Goodwill Ambassador for the UN and presented a speech about gender equality for the HeforShe campaign. She is the creative adviser for People Tree. People Tree is a fashion company that makes environmentally friendly and ethical clothes.

Emma Watson lived in Paris, France until She was Five. Then She moved to Yorkshire England with her mom. Then she would spend the weekends at her dad's house in London. She still lives in England today. So that's where Emma Watson lives.

Emma Watson is my hero because she is changing the world for young boys and girls with her HeforShe campaign. Her message is that you should be yourself and not what someone wants you to be This is called gender equality. Gender equality is that boys and girls have the same rights and opportunities. She is doing this by using her fame to give speeches at schools about being who you want to be and not what someone else wants you to be or expects you to be. Boys don't have to be strong and tough and girls don't have to love fashion and always be crying. She is my hero because even though she is famous, she feels equal to regular people and wants to inspire them.
