Frank Morelli

He is there for me when I need help, he protects me and takes care of me. He is my dad. My dad is very strong, healthy, and he's a hard worker and loves his job. Heroes help us get through in life and are there to protect us. They don't need to have super powers, or they don't need to be the strongest, or fastest. It all depends on the character and my dad has a funny character and is very fun to be around. He is a hard working, determined person and that's why I choose him as my hero.

My dads name is Frank Morelli and he is 39 years old. My dad grew up in Canada, but both his parents were from Italy. My dad has another brother and one sister. My dad is a construction worker and he owns his own business. My dad got married to my mom when he was 26 and my mom was 27. Two years later my parents had me, then a year, one month and two days my brother Tommaso was born. My parents have been married for over 12 years. My dad has accomplished his dreams and is now living his life to its fullest.

My dad is a unique individual. He strives, and pushes himself past his limits to get what he wants. He started with his wife and kids then accomplished that. Then he was working on his business and it is now a big success. I look up to my dad because he is interesting, he had accomplishes his goals, and he's not some lazy person sitting on his couch and watching his life wash down the tubes. Instead of him saying, oh I wish I did that or I wish I could have that he goes out and does it instead of watching it happen. I plan to be like my dad when i grow up. I'm going to get a job, save my money, and start my goals.

My dad is my hero simply because he lives everyone's dream, he may not be rich in money but he is rich in love, kids and his family. He has a job he makes money and he has great family and friends and that to me is the best dream in the world. Many people think you must have money and you must be an inventor to be a hero but that's not what a hero is. Heroes are people who have done something but it can be as simple as helping someone with homework. They are people who are there for you and my dad is with me twenty four-seven and he is my protector. My dad is very creative and he is my hero because he's my dad. He gives me a roof over my head, clothes, food and he loves me and he'll never let go of me no matter what. I can do anything and he wouldn't kick me out of the house or discriminate against me. He'd solve my problem and try to do whatever he can to fix the emotional part of me that has just been shattered. So I think you get my point.

All in all, we've learned a little something on my hero and how very important he is to me. All heroes play a special part in someones life. Either they help you get through an emotional struggle or they teach you how to behave, and how to be more respectful. They could be a close friend of yours and that right there is very precious, seeing how very important friendship is to anyone. I guess we can all say that we are our own heroes because everyday we have to deal with everything that is happening around us.
