We chose our teacher Memo as our Hero! Well, our hero has done a lot of things such as creating Crafts (an English school). He helps his students to learn English in a special, interesting and funny way. Our Hero lives here in Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico. We chose this person as our hero because he is a very good teacher and also a friend, he has a very great personality, and he teaches us in a very nice way because he teaches with dynamics and games.

One day in 1914, a ship from Lebanon arrived to the port of Veracruz. The people in that ship were Memo's grandparents.

Memo was born on May 15th, 1958 in Mexico City. Memo lived with his parents and his five brothers until junior High school. Because his father needed a better job to support his family, they went to Chicago, USA, to work in the best Hotel. The first step was too hard because his father’s first job was cleaning carpets. As he kept working he became the manager, then Memo started to help his dad.

He came back to Mexico City to the College where he studied Business Administration; when he finished his career he returned to USA and he became the manager of Houston´s Howard Johnson for two years until he got tired. He went to San Diego and he met Norah. Together they had Hiram, his first child. After 20 years they split, and he came back to Mexico. He traveled to many Touristy places like: Los Cabos, Acapulco, Cancún, Puerto Escondido, and, finally, he arrived to Xalapa in 1985.
Later he met Sara and they got married and they had 3 kids.

Tired of working in hotels, he wanted to try something different so he started to teach English in different Schools of Xalapa, but he didn’t like some schools' way of teaching so, after he worked in many places, he decided to create his own school... Crafts.
