Glen Close

by Tahjana from Eden Prairie

Glenn Close is a very amazing person. You will get to know her from birth to how old she is now. You will get to find out why I chose her for a hero as well. I hope you enjoy!

Glenn Close was delivered during the decade of 1947 in Greenwich, Connecticut. The time she was born was 2:12 pm EST. Glenn Close is the daughter of Bettina [nee Moore] and William Taliaferro Close. When Glenn was 13 her daddy opened a clinic in the Belgian Congo, which is now called Zaire. She attended schools in Africa and Switzerland. She started professional stage work in 1974. Then in 1982 she started her film work: movies like The Natural, and The Big Chill. She has played in more than sixty movies.

She has a big heart and she’s not afraid to show it. The reason I chose her for a hero is because she helps support people with mental brain illnesses. When she helps other people it shows how much she cares about people that she never knew. And that is a big thing that I support. She gets most of her funds from movies and events.

She gives her money to community center that helps people with mental brain illnesses. She is a great person. I hope that she continues what she does until she dies from old age.Glenn Close visits the community center to help others feel better. She visits other places to she gives them food. And gives some of the family’s there money. But there is always a different way she helps people.

She has had two other husbands and is now on her 3rd husband. I hope that she can visit the community center every day. She is living the nice life and she will always be happy knowing that she is helping people when other people don’t. Some people are so selfish with they’re money she isn’t. And that is admirable.
