George Lopez is a well-known comedian around the world. He has his own show on Nick at Night and does professional stand up at different clubs. Now he continues with his comedy and stars in more movies every year. He is a big help in people's lives; he encourages kids to do their best in life and never give up. When he does his shows, or even his stand up, he still teaches important lessons that everyone needs to know; he purposely makes some shows to give those lessons. He is a big inspiration to others because when he was little he was abused, was poor and even after all that he came out on top. George Lopez is a hero because he teaches kids and adults life lessons and makes people laugh at the same time.

George Lopez was born in Mission Hills, April 23, 1961 and his profession is comedian and actor. George Lopez was abandoned by his parents so his grandmother and grandpa raised him. George's grandmother did a good job raising him to be the man he is today even though she was very hard on him. His grandma kicked him out at 19 to go get a job. His grandmother gave no signs of affection to him or anyone. He says there are two different types of comedy "you are someone that laughs at everyday things" if you grow up with a nice and loving family. If you are neglected in anyway emotionally, or physically, he says that you do a deeper type of comedy he calls it dark edged humor."

Eventually George was recognized for his ability to make people laugh. He did some more stand-up comedy and was very good at it. Then he started playing in minor movie roles, after his amazing stand up. Soon he made a very successful show on Nick at Night named after him, George Lopez. The show is very funny and based some what on his life as a child. The part of the show that is based off of his life is that he didn't have the best of a childhood.

Now George Lopez has a beautiful wife named Ann and a daughter named Mayan. Today George Lopez can be a good influence. People look at him as a comedian, but he is a very good person in real life as well. In one of his episodes he purposely did it to send a message to people not to do drugs, and to be funny at the same time. He says "what is a dream for a Mexican kid is a goal for a white kid." Now still today he continues to make people laugh and he keeps getting bigger as the years go on he has made the USA laugh.

George Lopez had a bad life and he was emotionally abused as a child and was abandoned by his parents. He did stand-up comedy because he enjoyed it and was recognized for his talents, which is how he got where he is today. He inspires people everyday especially comedians and Mexicans. He inspires comedians with his comedy and Mexicans with his life story, but many are inspired by both. George Lopez is my hero because he's a good person and always will give you good laugh.
