George Lucas

George Lucas was born on May 14th, 1944. George grew up in the city of Modesto located in California. George Lucas's parents worked in the retail business and also owned a walnut ranch. Lucas then transferred to the University of Southern California filmmaking school. George created a Sci- Fi film named THX-1138:4EB which obtained a lot of recognition and landed him a spot under the wing of Francis Ford Coppola who was interested in finding new film making talent. George once said "Everybody has talent. It's just a matter of moving around until you've discovered what it is." (IMDB)

George Lucas is a very popular film maker who most is known for the creation of Star Wars. George created many other films like "American Graffiti, Red Tails, Hugh Hefner and Indiana Jones and the kingdom of the Crystal Skull. George Lucas is famous for not putting the credits in the beginning but rather put them in the end to plunge the audience into the narrative. Lucas impacted society by his works in filmmaking. His imagination has combined a new relationship between technology and entertainment. George has made millions of dollars by making these movies and by selling merchandise. (Entrepreneur) When someone sees Star Wars they think George Lucas. This self-made millionaire will surely go down in history and will be remembered for a long time.

I have always been fascinated with the Star Wars saga and Indiana Jones series which George Lucas created. As a kid I would play with Star Wars Legos and action figures. I will always remember watching the Star Wars and Indiana Jones movies as a little kid and today, his works are a part of my childhood. Even today I still watch the Star Wars Clone Wars series on cartoon network and still enjoy watching the Star Wars and Indiana Jones movies. I do not think that I will ever lose interest in George Lucas's films.
