Ginny the Dog

Ginny is a very gifted canine. She is different from other dogs. Ginny can sense people and animals in trouble. She has a story to tell you! She is a Siberian Husky mix. She was born in 1988 on Long Beach Island.

Once, when Ginny saw a cat she ran around the corner. The man thought Ginny and the cat were going to fight. When the man finally caught up with Ginny she was sitting down beside the cat and licking it. That is how Ginny saves cats. She chases them and saves them.

Ginny could also sense animals in need. For example, at the animal shelter Ginny found a cat that was deaf. She was in front of the kennel begging. The man adopted the cat.

Ginny also saved a man once. When she realized the man was blind and had stepped off the curb into ongoing traffic, she ran in front of him and started barking until the man turned back.

These are all the wonderful things Ginny has done for both people and animals. She is my hero because I absolutely adore animals. I respect her because it takes a special type of dog to sense people and animals in trouble.
