Jane Goodall

by Shamika from Raleigh

In my eyes, a hero must have these qualities; they must be devoted, loving, caring, and trusting. In the autobiography by Jane Goodall, entitled "My Life With The Chimpanzees," Jane Goodall is my hero.

Jane Goodall was born April 3, 1934 in London. From what I read she, Jane Goodall, "is one World's most famous scientists." She had been studing wild chimpanzees for over 40 year in Tanzania. She makes a difference by telling people that a chimpanzee's genes are close to ours. Jane has found out so much information about chimpanzees that people these days wouldn't believe it. There are a lot of interesting facts that people not know.

My hero, Jane Goodall, devoted her time to the chimpanzees in her younger days and now. She is still working with the chimpanzees. She hunted for chimpanzees. She did everything with the chimpazees. Jane Goodall dedicated everything to the chimpanzees. She loved them.

Jane Goodall is still a hero. So, she is a survivor hero. To me a survivor hero, is someone who is alive and working. She travels across the world to save the chimpanzees. They are her life.

Jane Goodall thinks of chimpanzees as friends. She spend a lot of time with them. They mean a lot to her. Jane Goodall devotes her time and loves her job.
