The jet engine gives many ships power as it creates a powerful, fiery force to push them forwards. I realized that Henri Coandă had really done a lot for the community of people around us because the jet engine helped traveling back then and now making it faster and more efficient. His inventions of the jet engine makes travel revolutionary for years to come. To invent something this big shows how he took an idea and made it happen which makes me want to strive for the same type of accomplishment that he had. He inspires me to do things that will help other people and not me while he has the same career plan that I want to do. This Career of an engineer is cool to think that you get to make things that that people everywhere get to use and it will help them do things. In this career you get to be creative and brainstorm with other people to achieve goals do things that you want to happen.

In the career of aerospace engineering you plan, design, and build anything that goes in the air. You build machines that are going to be put to the test so that if or when they get to the public they are safe, fun, and helpful to everyone. You start off with the idea, and from this idea you share it with other people to put their ideas into yours. Then you make the blueprint. Now you put your ideas into real life and build it. Lastly you test the product to see if it works or see if it's time to redesign. To be able to get into aerospace engineering you must have at least a bachelor's degree. With this you will get a pay of $103,720 a year or $49.87 an hour said by the Bureau of Labor. This is a good steady pay that you will make to support a family because "today.com" says you only need around 58,000 a year. Another job like this is nuclear engineers. The have a very similar job with the same concept and same pay. Nuclear engineers make designs for systems that run off of nuclear energy. Some new developments in aerospace engineering are drones. We have planes and many ships that don't need a pilot but can have someone control it from the ground or put it on and auto pilot.

When Henri Coandă was little he was forced to go to a military school for his high school years from 1899-1903. In this his interest peaked in engineering and went into rocket design. He went to college at Technische Hochschule in Charlotte to carry on his career of aerospace engineering in 1904. His passion and ideas for this helped him carry out what he wanted to do. According to "Airplane quotes" website Henri Coandă said "These airplanes we have today are no more than a perfection of a child's toy made of paper. "He loves to build planes and make them his own. Shows what he does and how small ideas can become bigger than they think. In the year 1910 he came up with the idea of a jet engine but he did not build the craft till later around 1910. This was the biggest thing that he had ever done and ever would do. He died November 25 in 1972.

Henri Coandă has made a very big contribution to life today. The time he puts into his work really shows and you have seen or most likely used his creation before. Henri Coandă has made such a big impact on life today. You may not realize it but his invention is used more than 10,000 times a day and it makes traveling so much easier and faster. Without his idea of the jet engine, flights would be a lot slower and planes would not be able to hold as many people. His ideas have been implemented into the planes for the future. Henri Coandă has ideas to help the society and to make the plane easier and more efficient then it was before. "I imagine a future aircraft, which will take off vertically, fly as usual, and land vertically. This flying machine should have no moving parts." This was stated from likesuccess.com. He saves us plenty of time on traveling that we take for granted but we would suffer without it.

My high school goals are that I want to get involved into science and math more than I am right now and to go farther than most people do in those subjects. I want to do 4 years of both subjects going up to AP calculus and Physics. For College I would like to major in some sort of engineering at a school preferable in state. My idea would be something like UCSB or UCSD. Later on in my life when I have a job, I would like to help people with problems they have by making designs and inventions to their needs. With this I will make enough money to support my family and have some left over to enjoy life with them. I want to make an invention that will impact the world like Henri Coandă did.
