"Obstacles are those dreaded things you see when you take your eyes off your goal"-Henry Ford. Henry Ford was a car manufacturer who industrialized the future for more than just cars. He revolutionized the way we produce goods and helped poverty throughout the U.S.A..Therefore I believe Henry Ford is a hero to most because of his contributions for innovating the future and selflessness.
As a kid Henry was very curious. He took apart his brothers' toys just to figure out how they worked. His curiosity and creative mind set led him to leave his father's farm and pursue a career in mechanics. This led him to become the hero we know him as today.
Henry Ford is a hero to most because of his dedication and selflessness. Through World War One, The Great Depression, and World War Two, Henry lived through it all and maintained his business, excelling above the rest. Ford made it his goal to make the car more affordable to the lower class which the car was considered a luxury at the time(Musolf 1). This shows how Henry put the less fortunates' needs above his own by making a luxury available to everyone else that couldn't afford it. The way he is dedicated is for 8 years he fought a legal battle to eliminate royalties for making cars which was despised by many(Douglas 2015). This evidence recognizes the way he fought for a really long time to make his own cars and eliminate the injustice in the car manufacturing business and was described as a big victory to many if not all. Thus far he has proven his deeds to others but he has also industrialized the future for all.
Henry Ford didn't just improve the functions of the car, but how we make it. He invented the assembly line - the way it works is instead of one person making one car they made one part of it making the process much faster and inexpensive. This did not just change the way we made cars but how we make most things. The assembly line is still used today as one of the most major and vital ways we manufacture most things today.
Therefore Henry Ford is a hero to most because of his contributions to society and his selflessness. Henry improved the way our society did things while helping the less fortunate at the same time. In the end Henry kept his eye on the goal and overcame his obstacles to succeed in his battle to improve our world.
