Hajime Isayama is a 29 year old manga artist who was born in Hita, ÅŒita, Japan on August 29, 1986 and he is currently living in Tokyo. ÅŒita, Japan is a mountainous place, and, living there, inspired young Hajime to create one of the biggest manga's to date. He is writing and illustrating the Attack on Titan manga series. Definition of Manga: A manga is a style of Japanese comic books and graphic novels, typically aimed at adults as well as children.

Although many people love Hajime's work, others don't show the same excitement. An anonymous user on the AoT Creator Forums posted 1,000 death threats directed towards Hajime. This user was later found to live in South Korea where, there's a general that served in one of the wars in the region that, one of the characters in AoT looks too have been designed after. Also, in China, Attack on Titan is banned due to "Promoting violence and delinquency in children and adolescents".

Hajime is currently producing two movies based upon his hit series. One of these is aptly named Attack on Titan, and the other is named Attack on Titan Part I: Crimson Bow and Arrow. On top of that, he's also been nominated for the "Goodreads Choice Awards Best Graphic Novels & Comics Award" two years in a row. Moreover, he has won the the "2011 Kodansha Manga Award in the Shōnen Category."

I feel that Hajime would be considered a hero because he has shown something called quiet bravery. Quiet bravery is when you are strong and dependent, but you don't necessarily show it. He shows this because he has been determined to write AoT his way though some people have said he should change his story. He's dedicated to his work and is still writing to this day.

Hajime has as a big personal impact on me. I believe he has a vast imagination and he just isn't afraid to hand something to the world and see what they think. He's made me think about how self-conscious I am and, he's gotten me to enjoy drawing a lot more. Hajime has changed my, and many others, life.
