Heidi Klum

My first awareness of Heidi Klum is when I went through the television channels one day and noticed a show called Project Runway. I fell in love with the way she talked about the clothing and what accessories go with an outfit. I decided then that I wanted to go into the fashion industry. Heidi first started out as a model and then her career got bigger and successful, so now she is a fashion designer, business woman, actress, and most importantly a mother. I want to become just as successful as she is when I’m older.

I want to be a fashion buyer because I love how you can choose the clothing to go in your store. A related career is a fashion designer. Fashion designers make the clothes and sell it to stores if they like their outfits they make. The average annual salary for a fashion buyer is $55,540. This is great money to start off with my career and this is great for my future when I settle down and get married and have children. To get this to come true, I will need to finish high school and go off to a great college and major in fashion. After, I will look for a job as a fashion buyer and hope that people will hire me for my great ideas I have for their store. Fashion buyers show the love and passion for clothes and will help make the store you have even better then it was before.

My hero, Heidi Klum did not attend college to reach her goals. She went on a show and got her start there. For me I will go to college and get my diploma because that is important to me, but I want to be as successful as Heidi. Heidi did go to a high school in Germany. Some successful involvements that made her famous were modeling for Victoria Secret, she did a cover for the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, and became a host of a show called Project Runway. Project Runway became a big success, most people watch it if they are interested on being a designer. The show started in 2004, and more and more viewers started to watch the show. Heidi Klum became more famous than ever.

My hero has a lot of positive contributions to society. She helps the red dress charity and donates money for women who have had a heart attack. This shows that she is a caring woman and helps people in trouble. Also, Heidi has a new show that is called ‘Seriously Funny Kids’, which shows kids talent. Heidi loves children and is a great mom. When I have kids, I want to be a good mother like her. "I saw that you have to work to get what you want." Klum says. Heidi always, tries her best and helps a good role model for all girls. That’s what the quote is telling us. Heidi is a sweet person.

To become a fashion buyer and to be successful like Heidi, I will need to finish high school and go to college. I need to get very good grades in high school to get into a good college. I will also need to take accelerated classes to show that I can achieve and do well in school. I also will join clubs like Cougars for Character which I am doing right now. Participating in clubs shows that I will help out the community and helps when submitting college applications. When I graduate from high school, I will go to college and major in business and fashion. I will study very hard to become a good fashion buyer. When I get out of college, I will find my job as a fashion buyer and will settle down and get married and have kids. I will become a very successful fashion buyer. Heidi Klum is my hero and shows me that I can achieve these goals.
