Ian Fleming was born May 28th, 1908 in Mayfair London. Ian Fleming wrote a series of books called James Bond. He lived in London, England. He lived from May 28th 1908 to August 12th 1964. He is important because he was an inspiration to movie makers and most likely writers. That means new movies and books. He was a good man.
Ian Fleming was born on May 28th, 1908. He had a regular early life. He had an older brother Peter and soon to come Richard and Michael. Their parents were Valentine and Eve Fleming. Valentine Fleming died on May 20th 1917. Ian Fleming and his brothers attended school at Eton. After his time at Eton he went on to study in Munich and Geneva. Before the war began he was a stockbroker.
Ian Fleming was a Navy Commander in World War II. In 1939 he was recruited and became Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve Lieutenant. He was eventually promoted to Lieutenant Commander then Commander. His known codename was 17F. In 1942 Fleming formed an auxiliary unit known as 30AU or 30 Assault Unit. They were nicknamed the Red Indians. He Served his country well.
Ian Fleming was a great writer. He created James Bond, a fictional spy, and now movies are being made about him. Some of the James bond novels are, Casino Royale, The Diamond Smugglers, and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. His books are still very popular today. Because of Fleming's success, movies based on his books are being or have been made. He was very successful in his time.
Ian Fleming led a good life. He had a normal and decent early life. He served as a great man in WWII. After the war he became a writer and wrote a highly interesting to read or to watch in film with his character named James Bond. He was a great man.
