"My powers are ordinary. Only my application brings me success," Isaac Newton once said, one of the greatest scientists that has ever lived. Newton was an ordinary person with an extraordinary mind. "Born in Woolsthorpe, England, Newton was not born into an easy life. When his father died, only days before his birth, his mother remarried and when Isaac was born was sent away to live with his grandmother"("Isaac Newton"). Sir Isaac Newton worked day and night to make some of the greatest discoveries in scientific history when struck upon the head with an apple. Living at Cambridge University most of his life Newton discovered the law of gravitation. This discovery has shaped the way we look at science and the world today. Newton deserves the highest gratitude of any, earning the title hero. The literal definition of hero is a person, who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements, or noble qualities. All these qualities are prevalent in Newton as he has changed the world we live in. Isaac Newton a renowned Hero, Physicist and Mathematician, was a beacon of hard work in mathematics and physical science, a determined thinker towards the discovery of gravity, and an inspiring worker.

Isaac Newton has inspired the world around us with his scientific discoveries and information about the universe he has unlocked. Starting from nowhere, Newton learned about the world like the rest of us, through the great minds before us. "Newton learnt from those before him, by studying and reading. He would question and challenge assumptions and expand on existing knowledge, both his own and that of others'' ("The Qualities of Isaac Newton"). Learning from those before him lead Isaac to great success and accomplishments. His ways of learning shows that even with the basic necessity of learning he was still able to achieve greatness. Those books that inspired Newton lead to his discoveries, and has inspired past and present generations. Influencing the majority of science with his writing of "Principia" Newton changed the world around us and the way we think. "Said to be the single most influential book on physics and possibly all of science, it is most often known as Principia and contains information on nearly all of the essential concepts of physics, except energy"("Isaac Newton Biography"). Newton's most influential book has inspired others to follow in his footsteps, these steps in scientific history has inspired his discoveries inspiring others to follow in his footsteps. Newton has inspired everyone in science, math and those studying to find the next big step in history. These discoveries have made it possible for others to follow because of his ways of study and research.Determined, Sir Isaac Newton helped discover some of the most important steps in Scientific history. With the lack of sleep and social life, Newton remained decisive. "Newton was known as obsessively devoted to his work, rarely allowing himself any time for relaxation. His lack of sleep wore him down, but he wasn't a complete shut-in. He actively corresponded with other scientists and counted a select few among his friends" (Silverman). Being a determined soul, Newton often spent days alone studying and experimenting. Corresponding with other scientists, he would ask opinions and other perspectives on his ideas. Newton showed his dedication and determination in his search to find answers to the world's scientific problems. Changing the way we solve problems, "These four concise and universal rules for investigation were truly revolutionary. By their application, Newton formulated the universal laws of nature with which he was able to unravel virtually all the unsolved problems of his day"(Weisstein). By solving these problems and creating laws, Newton showed great determination by completing such a hard and rigorous task. By discovering and publishing his four scientific laws, Sir Isaac Newton demonstrates determination in his desired fields. Reclusive and deserted, Isaac Newton was able to reach the answers to the universe. Newton was able to unlock the unsolved problems of the universe.

Sir Isaac Newton showed a hardworking personality in his fight to interpret the way the world works. Working day and night, Isaac Newton achieved his goals, "He suffered from his intense devotion to his studies, experiencing more than one nervous breakdown. It took him several years to recover from his first breakdown in 1675, which was followed by the subsequent shock of his mother's death" ("How Isaac Newton Worked"). Newton was infatuated with his studies and this caused him to have a lack of friends and social time. Having very little time outside of his studies, Newton was lonely, and never married. Even though he had very little social life he accomplished his goals. Newton accomplished an answer to how the world works, how the tides change and how the other planets rotate. "This law also allowed Newton to calculate the mass of each planet, calculate the flattening of the Earth at the poles and the bulge at the equator, and how the gravitational pull of the sun and moon create the Earth's tides" ("Isaac Newton Biography"). Newton, discovered the mass of each planet and how gravity affects the moon and tides. Through analysis of this, Newton found the repercussions the moon has on earth. This discovery of how much the moon affects the planet has changed our views on the world we live in. Through his hard working personality, Isaac Newton accomplished some of the greatest steps in scientific history.
Isaac Newton is a hero because he showed great hard work and determination for his work in science. Newton inspires others through his work. The hard worker inside of Isaac Newton can be seen by his devotion to his studies. Determined, Newton was able to achieve greatness in his search and studies for the answers to the unanswerable. Inspiring himself and others with his great knowledge, Sir Isaac Newton lead the world to the most important scientific discoveries. Sir Isaac Newton inspires me with his sense of knowledge and determination to find an answer. Through the ups and down Newton was able to explain some of the greatest phenomena to ever be discovered. We all know Isaac Newton as the great scientist that got hit in the head with an apple and then discovered gravity; however Newton is much more than just the man who discovered gravity. Isaac Newton is an inspiring, hard working and determined individual who wanted to find an answer and did just that.
