| Isaac Newton |
Isaac Newton was born in the manor house of Woolsthorpe in 4 January 1643. He was an English scientist, mathematician, and astronomer. He has observed the gravitational force and he has three laws. The first law is when an object is moving it will continue moving in a straight line and with constant speed. The second law states that the net force is equal the mass into the acceleration. Finally, the third law says that for every action there is a reaction equal in magnitude and opposite in direction.
Newton's law of universal gravitation states that every object that has a mass in the universe it is attracted by the gravitational force. The way to calculate the weight is to multiply the mass into the gravity which is equal to (9.8) on earth and it changes from one planet to another. For example, the weight on earth is different from the weight on Jupiter but the mass doesn't change from one planet to another planet. He has a book called "Philosophiæ Naturalis Principia Mathematica" and it is usually called Principia, and it means in English "Mathematical Principles of Natural Philosophy".
Newton first attended his local village school, then from about 12-17 he was a boarder at King's School, Grantham. At age 18 he went on to the University of Cambridge.
