Jim Carrey had a very poor family but that didn’t stop him from being a famous comedian. He was born on January 17 1962 in Newmarket, Ontario, Canada.

Jim Carrey had 3 brothers and sisters, their names were Rita, Pat and John Carrey. Parents are Katherine and Percy Carrey None of his siblings are famous.

Jim’s last name Carrey is French. Jim currently Lives in Brentwood, California. He was married twice and has one child. His favourite colour is green.

Jim Carrey’s influence is his dad because Jim says his dad’s spirit is in everything he does for a living. Jim also said that he and his dad were a Tag team of comedy. This person changed his life by always being there for everything he does.

Jim Carrey’s depression started after he moved to Hollywood, and when he got married twice, and even during those two marriages and when he had his child he had depression.

He overcame his depression because he got a Prozac And believed he was depression free. In an interview he even admitted that he had depression and how he got over it.

The thing that considers him a hero to me, is from being a very famous comedian, to his imitations and movies.

Some examples of Jim Carrey’s actions are that the fact he chose comedy as an acting career and brings out the joy in people like for example if I have a bad day and my parents put on one of his movies I am happy and also that he lost both of his parents he can still do what he does to the best of his abilities. That’s what inspires me about.

Most of his accomplishments are his movies like How The Grinch Stole Christmas, Me Myself And Irene, Man On The Moon etc. He was ranked 54 out of 100 movie stars of all time, he won two Golden Globes, one for The Truman Show and For the Man On The Moon.

Some examples of Jim Carrey’s character traits are imitations because he has always been great at imitating other people. Another character trait is awkward voice making because everybody loves this funny voice he always does.

Jim Carry influences me because he is the best comedian in the world to me, and one day I would like to be as funny as he is and play in many different comedy movies like him.

Jim Carrey has had many good and bad times but he always knows what to do during the bad and the good times.
