grandpa (My mom took it)

My grandpa is the one I choose because he has done a lot for our family. When my mom wasn't even born yet my biological grandfather died of a horrible car accident. My mom never got to meet her biological dad and I never got to meet my biological grandpa. So my grandpa now is Jim Cashman. As a young man he quit the priesthood years ago just to marry my grandma. My mom now has a dad and I now have a grandpa and I love him very much. He is very dear to the family and lots of other people.

My grandpa is not just important to me, he is also important other people like the poor. My grandpa wakes up around 5:30 and he makes his morning rounds. First, he runs to Walmart and picks up groceries for my grandma. Then, he goes and walks at the park. Last, he delivers diapers to the poor people that have young children that can't afford stuff for their babies. He also worked at the food pantry for a while and he would give food to the poor. He loves to help out other people that are less fortunate.

He is also remembered by a lot of children and parents. He was a social worker for many years. He helped a lot of children with their family problems. He also helped some parents by helping them with the adoptions of children. He loves children and will go out of his way to help them in any way that is possible.

My grandpa loves having fun with his children and grandchildren. When we were younger he would love to take us fishing. He also would take us to the park and other fun places. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, and about ten years ago when I was just a baby, it had snowed here in Jasper he tied a rope to a trash can lid and pulled my sister and I around in the snow. It was so much fun, it was just like we were in Colorado.

My grandpa loves to read and teach us all about different things in the world. He loves to teach us about politics and different religious issues. He helps me with my homework whenever I have trouble with it. He loves to talk about world history with us. My grandpa is a very caring man and has set a very good example for me and my sister and he will always be remembered by me.
