| John Cena performing his famous taunt. |
"This is... this is kind of hard to understand, but sometimes you can try so hard at something. Sometimes you can be so prepared, and still fail. And every time you fail, it's painful, it causes sadness, and especially as I saw last night, it causes disappointment. I've often said a man's character is not judged after he celebrates a victory, but by what he does when his back is against the wall. So no matter how great the setback,... you never give up. You never give up, you pick yourself up, you brush yourself off, you get up and move on and overcome and that is what I believe! So. there are those who were so offended by my actions last night that they might have lost faith in me.... But I'm not talking to them. I'm talking to those people who still believe! Tonight, I speak to those who still proudly stand [with me]! You have not given up on me, and I will NOT give up on you!" (This Never Give Up Speech Will Move You 2014) John Cena, a professional wrestler, said this motivational speech apologizing for acting rude in celebration one night after winning a wrestling match. John Cena is a role model to many and one of the most famous wrestlers of all time. He has one of the highest reigns and represents the WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment). This proves that Cena is caring by visiting young, and sick fans, which causes him to lose time, unlike other famous idols. He is also endurable because he has been injured many times while wrestling and has continued anyway. According to Bleacherreport.com, Cena has been injured many times but has come back into the ring, "From his torn pectoral muscle in 2007 to his neck injury in 2008 to his triceps injury in 2013, Cena's record of physical damage is there for the whole world to see....When [he] gets hurt, he's back in no time. His incredible physique and unbelievable conditioning make it possible, as does his immense desire to get back in the ring as soon as possible," (Zucker). This proves that John Cena powers on no matter what and will have nothing get in his way. In conclusion, John Cena is selfless and endurable because he uses precious time to visit sick kids and doesn't let anything get in his way.
