Jackie made a number of action comedy films with his opera school friends. In 1988 Jackie released his final film for Golden Harvest. Jackie had a very bad accident once, it almost killed him. It actually happened when he was performing a stunt for a movie called Armor of God in Yugoslavia he was still getting up back on his feet from jet leg from the 20 hour flight there. It happened by Jackie jumping from a castle wall into a branch. The first time went perfectly but Jackie didn't think so; so he went and did it once more but somehow missed the bush causing him to go head first into the rocky ground which made blood pour out from his ears. On the bottom of this paragraph is a photo of Jackie in the hospital.

Jackie has performed most of his stunts that are created from his own stunt team. The picture below is showing Jackie getting ready to slide down the building for a new police movie. The stunt Jackie did interfered with his insurance so it was hard if a major injury happened. Jackie used his team to make his job of choreographing easier for him.

Jackie has been injured many times while performing stunts. Jackie holds the Guinness record for most stunts performed by living actor. Above the 3rd paragraph is Jackie's own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Jackie has received many awards for stunts and actions he has done. Jackie has always wanted to be a role model for children. Jackie never has agreed to be a villain in a movie and never really swears in a movie. I picked Jackie because he wants to be a good role model for the younger kids so they don't grow up to be one of those kids that give up on school or give up on their dreams. Jackie inspires me because he's one of those people that had an interesting life growing up like he failed his first year of school so he went to the opera drama school where he learned all of his acting skills and fighting skills. Jackie is the man he is now because he never gave up no matter what happened. Jackie is also inspiring to me because he did his home town proud. He made China look good because he was one of China's best actors. Jackie has also helped people that needed help very badly has donated money to charities. Jackie is also inspiring to me because he was one of the two people to carry the 2008 Olympic torch.
