John Christopher Depp II was born on June 9 1963 in Owensboro, Kentucky. He was raised in over 20 places in Florida with his two sisters and brother as a child. In 1978 his parents got a divorce, he was really upset about that and other things in his life so he started to cut himself due to all the stress of his life. He got his very first guitar at the age of 12 from his mother. At the age of 15 Johnny dropped out of school to become a rock star, and it was only 2 weeks after that he wanted to go back to school but the principle told him to follow his dreams. The first film that he had ever acted in was in 1984, A Nightmare on Elm Street. He played one of the boyfriends and also one of Freddy’s victims. Depp is more than just an actor; he is also a screenwriter, director and also a producer. Johnny isn’t perfect, he has been taken down to the police office for questioning more than once. But he has done some good things in his lifetime, like donate 1 million dollars to a children’s hospital.

Three major accomplishments that he has achieved were: donation of one million dollars, became a very successful actor along with other jobs, and became a winemaker/restaurateur. He donated 1 million dollars to a hospital where his daughter was staying because of an illness. While he was there he dressed up in his Jack Sparrow costume from the movie Pirates of the Caribbean. He has won many Oscars over the years and other awards too. He and Vanessa Paradis grow grapes and have wine making facilities in their vineyard in Plan-de-la-Tour.

The reason that I chose to do Johnny Depp was because I look up to him as one of my role models. And I think that he is a really good actor and thought that he would be good to do for this assignment. I can relate to Johnny because I too also moved a lot when I was younger. We never stayed in one spot for a long time until now. I think Johnny Depp is good at what he does and he goes above and beyond expectations.
