Jordan Eberle is my hero. He was born in Regina, Saskatchewan; Jordan was born on June 15, 1990. Jordan is a Canadian and lots of Canadians play hockey. He is a famous hockey player that plays for the Edmonton Oilers. He is a great hockey player and he is the number one hockey player that played for Canada in the world junior; he is a very inspiring hockey player. He plays a fair game. That is why he is my hero.

Jordan spent his childhood in Regina. His dad was his hockey coach all through minor hockey. His dad taught him everything he knows today. Jordan is a Canadian and lots of Canadians play hockey. Jordan had two sisters and one brother. His parents and siblings were very supportive of his dreams.

Jordan did not go to college. He got drafted in the Bantam draft to the Regina Pats. He came home every day from school and he trained to play hockey. He got a lot of his training from his dad, then from there he just kept training and it led up to him playing in the NHL. His dad was a key component to his career.

Jordan's goal was to play in the NHL just like everybody else that plays hockey. Jordan played a lot of hockey and he trained a lot, he did his best at everything he did and that is why he passed his goal. He got scouted to play in the WHL. He played for a good Bantam hockey team. Jordan got lots of awards such as CHL player of the year, WHL player of the year and Best Player that played in the World Juniors.

Jordan has donated some money to the Slave Lake fire, a terrible fire that destroyed much of the town of Slave Lake. He is a great hockey player and he has done lots for the Oilers. Our lives would not have changed but he is a great hockey player and he has changed Canadian hockey. He should be remembered for what he did for the Canadian hockey team; he taught people like me that everyone can do it. He has taught me that I can do it and to not give up on my dreams. I would really like to be like this person because he is a great hockey player.
