Almost everyone has a hero. A hero is a role model, someone to look up to, or just someone who inspires you to do something. Fortunately, my hero has been with me all my life. He has dedication, "devotion" to do what he loves, kindness, "sympathy" to everyone, and he is caring, "nurturing", to my brother and me. It takes a true hero to do all of that. He is the best living soul in my opinion. I look up to him, and I'm certain that many other people do, too. My hero is very unique to me.

My hero is my brother. He is twenty-three years old right now. His hero is my mom because she always inspired him to do everything. His name is Jefferson Fuentes. His birth place is Guatemala, and he was brought to the United States at the age of one. Right now he lives in an apartment with my mom, my dad, my brother, and I. He has lived in apartments all his life, so this kind of life-style isn't very different for him then it used to be. This is the fifth building that he has lived in. He has only lived in one house in all of his life.
My brother makes a difference by always being courteous and understanding to other people. He is courteous to other people by always saying "Hi" when he sees that someone is feeling sad. He is also understanding because he cares about other people and their problems. He is like that to every single person that he meets. When he does help people, he doesn't make such a big fuss of it, like people would normally. He is also always telling everybody, "Never give up and keep going when life gets tough."
My brother is important to me because he sometimes takes care of me when my mom is at work. He also influences me to do my best. He makes a difference in my life by teaching me to never give up in life. He influences me because he has made it so far into college and university to be an electrical engineer. It can get really difficult, but he never stops, he just keeps on moving forward with his studies. My brother affects my life by leading me into the right path, so I can make minimal mistakes. In the past ten years, I have learned from my brother to not judge people and to be courageous. I would like to be like him because it's as if he's perfect and never makes any mistakes. Even though I know that he's not perfect and that he does make mistakes, it's as if he is and doesn't. I would also like to be be an electrical engineer.

A hero can be a very special person who inspires you, or someone that you look up to. My hero is important to me. I don't know if everyone has a hero, but I know that many people do. I am lucky to have one who cares about me. I am also lucky to have one who inspires me all of the time.
