My hero is Jane Goodall because she saved chimpanzees and she taught chimpanzees how to behave. She stopped people who would try to sell chimps and then kill them. She stopped that from happening. She spent two years with chimps and she saved many chimps.
Early life Jane Goodall’s first observation of animals was when she was five and she watched a hen lay eggs and she wrote about what happened during the event. She moved to a different house because of World War Two. Their family was homeschooled. As she got older she married a National geographic photographer but then they got a divorce.
Jane Goodall’s challenges and problems. Once she got bit by a chimp and almost attacked. Also people did not want her to work with chimps. Her family gave her problems about living with and helping chimps. When she was young she always wanted to go to the farm but her parents would not let her go that much because they thought she was spending too much time with the animals not the family.
Jane Goodall had many contributions. One, she became known because of her work with chimps and living with them. She taught them how to behave and stay with her. Jane also donated money to chimps and won trust with many chimps.
Jane had many awards, honors and recognitions. She once received an award for her bravery for living with chimps. She was recognized by many books, movies, speeches, and interviews. She also became a PH.D in 1967. She got an award for the dame commander of the British Empire. Jane made tons of films too.
Jane Goodall was very outgoing, loving, and especially brave. She is outgoing because she took the chance and thought of the idea of spending life with chimps. And teaching them how to behave. She wanted to know what their life and habitat was like. She is loving because she loves animals “chimps,” she loves kids and she loved the chimps so much that she left her family for a while working with chimps. She is brave. She had the bravery to train chimps. She was brave to spend time with them and that she had to know that they could have hurt her. She needed to win their trust.
I believe that Jane Goodall is a true hero. She did amazing and spectacular adventures for chimpanzees. She won trust with many chimps. She is a special person. She had the courage to live with chimps!
