Jane Goodall

Jane Goodall is 75 years old and she is from England. She goes to Africa to work with her chimp friends. In Africa she has named all the chimps she works with and she works with a big group of chimps. Jane Goodall is a famous scientist. She has been working with animals for 44 years. She found out that chimps use tools, they eat meat and plants and they have fights and wars with each other. Jane Goodall writes when she looks at the chimps. She wrote the book The Chimpanzees of Gombe about patterns of behavior.

Jane Goodall helps chimps in Africa and goes around the world planting plants to replace the ones that were cut down. As she goes around she forms groups. The most popular one is Roots and Shoots.

Jane Goodall is my hero because she is trying her best to help the Environment and to stop animals dying out. She goes around telling people to start doing roots and shoots.

She is a good role model because because she cares for the Environment. She is selfless because she goes to the forest just to look after her friends.
