Jeff Hilliard

For my hero I chose my dad, Jeff Hilliard. I have known him all my life. My dad is a hero to me because he is always there when something bad happens to my brothers or me. When we jump on our trampoline he is always watching us through the window. He gives us everything we could ever dream of. My dad gave us a good house, all the toys we would ever need, a boat, and even a farm. He also let us go to one of the best schools in Georgia. He always says I live a perfect life, and he is right.

These are some traits that I think of my dad. My dad is strong because he moved most of our furniture in to our new house. He is brave because he is never afraid of scary rides at parks or of Pirates of the Caribbean movies. My dad is also funny. One of his jokes is when I say,“ Hey!” he always says, “ Hey is for horses!” I will never stop laughing at that joke. He is smart too. I think he is smart because he always thinks he is smart and he really is.

My dad is a little like a Greek hero because he is smart like Odysseus. He is also brave like all of the Greek heroes. I think those are the only ways he is like a Greek hero because all of the other heroes are not too smart and my dad is. That is why I think my dad is a hero to me.
