Juliet Marillier an inspiring author of fantasy and historical fantasy. Juliet has an interesting past. She has received several awards for her books. Juliet Marillier has inspired me in many ways, such as how her books can take you into a whole new and exciting world.

Juliet Marillier was born on July 27, 1948, in Dunedin, New Zealand. Her family had emigrated from Scotland and she also has an Irish line from her mother’s side. She currently lives alone with two dogs and a tri-colored cat. She is divorced and she has four grown-up children with two grandchildren. Juliet has worked as a teacher and tutor in music. Her past career also includes singing in opera and conducting choirs.

Juliet Marillier has accomplished many things. Her first novel, Daughter of the Forest was published in 1999. She has written ten novels and her writing is generally classified as historical fantasy. Juliet currently has about four series: The Sevenwaters Trilogy, Foxmask, Wolfskin and the Bridei Chronicles. Marillier has won several awards over the years for her books. Her most recent award was the 2006 Aurealis Award for best fantasy novel, which she won with her book Wildwood Dancing.

There are many reasons why I admire Juliet Marillier. The first reason is that her books are absolutely amazing and they can take you to a whole new world. The second reason is that she had started off as a teacher and tutor for music then she became the inspiring author that she is and how she has touched many readers’ hearts. The third and final reason is that she has inspired me to read more than any author has because with her books you never know what to expect next.

Her books have inspired me into reading more than any author has. For these reasons, I think that Juliet Marillier has touched many readers’ heart.
