I think that a good hero has to be a good person. Not a person that hates people, but a really inspirational person. He (or she) has to do great things and inspire people. They have to show people that he (or she) is a good person. That's what a hero, in my point of view, should be.

In the 1990's James Patterson was an advertiser and later retired from it. After that, he discovered that he was interested in writing. So, he began to write books for the public. So far he's written sixty-five novels in thirty-three years! His most famous book is Alex Cross (a famous psychologist formerly of the Washington D.C. Police Department and Federal Bureau of Investigation who now works as a private psychologist and government consultant). Lot's of men, woman, and even teens around the globe love his books! Some look to them as funny, some look at them as thrilling, and some even look to them as romantic!

James Patterson also broke a world record by making the most books ever written and won the Edgar award, the International Thriller of the Year award, he has the number one new titles simultaneously on The New York Times adult and children's bestsellers lists, and to have two books on NovelTracker’s top-ten list at the same time!

People say that James Patterson's books are so good that some of them actually went on TV! One of his books are still being made on TV, Maximum Ride! It's about a girl and five other friends that have wings and they have to save the world from an evil institute that they call. . . the school! A series that he made is already on TV, is called Kiss the Girls (a romance movie).

Other books that James Patterson has written are series such as, at the Michael Bennett, Womens Murder Club, Maximum Ride, and Daniel X, as well as many standalone thriller, nonfiction, and romance novels.

The reason I look to him as a hero is because James Patterson inspires me a great deal. When I grow up, I want to be an author and even though he didn't inspire me to become an author, he helped me a great deal. I read some of his books over and over and over again so I could learn how to spell, use different vocabulary, and add some good humor he had put in his own stories. So that is the reason I look to James Patterson as a hero. It's because he was (and still is) an inspiration.
