Jeff Pence

My hero is my dad. His name is Jeff Pence. He is amazing in many ways. He inspired me to want to be a teacher. He was raised in Dayton, Ohio. Growing up my dad went through a lot. When my dad was very young his brother Roger died of cancer. That had a huge impact on my dad's life, but it also had a impact on me it was hard losing my Uncle. But my dad inspired me to keep going when things get tough.

Later in life my dad had trouble finding a new job. He tried everything but could not find anything until he started as a substitute teacher. He loved it and soon I realized that I like it too, so soon my dad will go back to college to be a full time teacher and that will be awesome. This is how my dad inspired me.
