 My Hero ... Pastor Jonathan

  Pastor Jonathan loves to preach the word of God.  He preaches at Resurrection Fellowship and loves it.  He grew up as a pastor's kid.  He brings the love of God to the world and reaches out to people in need.  He loves God and the Rez family.

  In October, Enrique Chagoya's art piece was vandalized by an offended woman. Pastor Jonathan Wiggins exchanged emails with Enrique Chagoya, who agreed to create a loving portrait of Jesus for the church.  Pastor Jonathan reached out to Enrique.  Enrique Chagoya's painting was revealed to a cheering congregation at Rez.  It shows Jesus in a white cloth and red cape, holding a banner with the word "love" on it. Chagoya has said his old work was mischaracterized and was a satire directed at corruption within the Roman Catholic Church.

 Pastor Jonathan changed my perspective and heart for God.  When he started at our church I liked listening to him preach.  He showed me kindness, he showed me to love everyone and to reach out to everyone.  I am happy he is in my life.  I love what he has done to my life and others lives.
