Jean-Sebastien Roy is a professional motocross rider, he's won 5 times the Canadian National Motocross Championship in the years 2001-2005.

JSR was born and raised in Acton Vale, Quebec. He's about 40 years old. JSR has been also competing in the US for a while. JSR never raced for a factory team but he received the privateers awards. He raced both (inside and outside) of the AMA seasons, in 1998. He unfortunately finished 9th overall on his Kawasaki. When JSR came back to Canada he won the 5 consecutive 250 championships. JSR unfortunately lost the 2006 MX1 championship with his Blackfoot Honda teammate Dusty Klatt who is now in 2nd place because JSR gave him all his tricks and they competed against each other. JSR finished before his teammates and a long time arrival for Blair Morgan to finish the race. Blair was injured a few years ago and was paralyzed.

JSR is my hero because the first time I saw him drive his bike, he quickly inspired me to start to do that beautiful sport. After the start his goal is to be in front of the others. If his misses the start you can be sure he will work the whole 30 min+2 laps to be back at front.

He is recognized to be the most gentlemanly in that sport, both by other racers and the crowd.

After his career as a racer he became team manager for team Blackfoot Yamaha. He was the mentor of the new Canadian champion. (2009 Colton Facciotti and 2010 Dusty Klatt.) Now he has retired from motocross and works for Oakley.
