My chosen hero is Jung Yong Hwa of the #1 idol band in South Korea, CN Blue. He has reached for his goal and never stopped and finally became what he deserved to be. Starting at a young age and being one of only two sons in a family, he had to achieve greatness. Jung Yong Hwa is not only the lead vocalist in CN Blue, but also a world renowned actor. Not only is he loved, but also hated; hated by fans of other celebrities of course. Overall, Jung Yong Hwa is one of the greater singers, actors, and inspirations that deserves to be known to the world.

Being raised with only one brother, he moved to Busan at an early age to start his musical career, but along the way found his passion for acting. Yong Hwa met his band later on in high school and started to perform in city streets and clubs, creating their own indie or independent albums. Then later, he was found by the Warner Brand and debuted on FNC music with CN Blue on the 14th of January, 2010.

Soon after his music career started he was targeted as a model for other entertainment. After debuting with CN Blue, Jung Yong Hwa landed his first professional role in the SBS drama You're Beautiful, as a member  of the fictional band, A.N. Jell. Jung Yong Hwa was found by MBC men and was asked to take the lead role in the drama Heart Strings, which soon afterwards proved to be one of his biggest acting roles. Sooner and faster than expected, entertainments, shows, and international programs wanted Jung Yong Hwa to be the host of their show.

Every hero has to accomplish something in their lifetime, and so did Jung Yong Hwa. He was awarded with lots of gold for his exclusive one of a kind work and everlasting love for his job. SBS awarded Jung Yong Hwa with the Drama Award:  the New Star Award for his tremendous acting skills in You're Beautiful. In 2010 he was also awarded with the SBS Entertainer Awards: Popularity Awards on the game show We Got Married with Seohyun of SNSD. With all the acting awards through, he went back to his beloved band, CN Blue, and obtained glory by coming out with 3 albums within a range of 2 years. Bluetory, CN Blue's first album in January 14, 2010 stayed at the top of Gaon Chart for 2 weeks. Then with success, the band released the 2nd mini-album, First Step+1 Thank You, as a comeback in April 29, 2010. Without exception, fans went crazy for CN Blue's 3rd album Ear Fun, released in March 26, 2012, featuring Jung Yong Hwa's first 2 solo songs. Ear Fun reached #1 in the Oricon daily, making CN Blue the #1 band in South Korea.

With every hero there is a downfall that will lead him to his rise up to glory. When Jung Yong Hwa debuted with CN Blue, his was told he had vocal cord nodules (mass of tissue that grows on the vocal cords), which might cause him to have Acute Laryngitis:  a complete loss of voice do to irritation of vocal cords. Soon after, he went through surgery for his vocal cords and came out with an amazing voice, but it was rumored that he'd had some other parts fixed. Jung Yong Hwa was rumored by bloggers all over the world to have had plastic surgery while fixing his vocal cords.  The rumors were found to be true when his manager showed the world proof with records. Yong Hwa was also known to be a troubled person.  On April 11, 2012, in a recording of MBC's Music Champion, Jung Yong Hwa refers to himself as a "Wando-Nam" which means a totally arrogant man. Afterwards, Jung Yong Hwa later explained and was given the nickname "Jeong Yong Hwa", but as an artist you must maintain a certain amount of arrogance.
