Karol Jozef Wojtyla

Karol was born in Wadowice, Polonia, at the May 18 in 1920. His parents were Karol Wojtyla and Emilia Kaczorowska.He was the little one in a family of two sons. His brother, Edmund, died in 1940, meanwhile his dad died in 1941 and his mother in 1929. He studied in the Marcin Wadowita School. At the 1938, the Nazis closed the university where Karol studied and he had to work as a laborer in a quarry before working in a chemical factory. When in 1942 he was called to the priest career, he started to follow the classes of the Cracovia’s archbishop leader in the clandestine seminary. The end of the war allowed him to continue his studies in the Mayor Seminary of Cracovia. The first of November of 1946, he was ordered priest. After John Paul’s I death, 111 cardinals met twice in a little bit more of a month. On October 16, 1978, Karol Wojtyla was chosen Pope of the Roman Catholic Church.

I think that John Paul II was (and is) a hero of the world because Karol gives and gave to us peace, love, dedication and respect. Also because he taught us to live with humility all the days of our life, how to assimilate all the changes. He is a hero in his soul. He forgave all the people that wanted to see him dead. His life was very interesting because he survived the II World War and lived to see that the Berlin Wall fell. He was a great person that helped the poor people. I want to remember Karol as a heroic person in all the life profiles.

Karol helped me to be a better person in life because now I give all my soul to my religion, but it doesn’t mean that I want to be a nun. Oh no! I want to give money to the countries without economy, like Africa. Karol is my guide through life, a little light, but it is something, because the rest, I have to do it alone, or with my giant hero: Karol Józeph Wojtyla. The best pope of all times!!! =) XD
