Kobe Bean Bryant

Kobe Bean Bryant is an American professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association. Born August 23, 1978, Kobe was so talented that right after high school he was drafted into the NBA. He was drafted by the Charlotte Hornets with the 13th over all pick then was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers. Over his career Kobe has won 5 NBA championship 2 NBA finals MVP 16 all star 4 time all star MVP and 2 NBA scoring champ. Kobe has reached many great things like he has won two Olympic gold medals he has scored 81 points in a signal game against the Toronto Raptors only second to Wilt Chamberlain who scored 100 points in a game. Kobe has also become the all time scorer for the Los Angeles Lakers. He is regularly compared with Micheal Jeffrey Jordan who was and still is the greatest basketball player to play basketball even though Kobe has achieved many great accomplishments. There have been scandals about him like the one in 2003 where he was accused of sexual assault but was later declared innocent because the accuser refuse to testify. He currently wears the number 24 but he did not always wear the number 24. Before he used to wear the number 8. Kobe was inspired by his dad who was also basketball player who played professionally.
