Kate DiCamillo

Kate DiCamillo is a writer. She is important because she writes long novels, short novels and picture books for children. Her stories inspire young children to write books just like she has done.

Kate DiCamillo was born March 25, 1964 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She graduated from the University of Florida. Kate DiCamillo has no children and her husband separated from the family. She is an aunt to 3 children. Kate DiCamillo had pneumonia at a young age. Her doctor told her to move to a warmer climate. Her pneumonia eventually cleared.
